Meet The Team

Dr. Jake Schumann

Dr. Jake Schumann grew up simply. On a few acres right outside of Greenville, Texas. His parents, Glenn and Tammy, now happily married for over 30 years raised him, his older sister Molly, and his younger sister Jenny with strong Christian values. They and their extended family, have run Turner Pest Control in the Greenville area for over 40 years. Dr. Jake attributes much of his entrepreneurial spirit to watching his family operate with such grit for many years while also garnering a top tier reputation for their integrity and customer service. He feels uniquely blessed to have witnessed the struggles and great joy of running a service-first small business. At Restoration Chiropractic, we love to support small businesses and invest back into our local economy.

Dr. Jake graduated highschool with honors and then attended the University of North Texas on full scholarship as a Terry Foundation Scholar. He loved his time in Denton, Texas and enjoys remaining active at his alma mater. He graduated with honors and degrees in Biology, Chemistry and Management. After being accepted to multiple Chiropractic schools around the country, Dr. Jake decided to stay local and attend the prestigious Parker University in Dallas. He wanted to be close enough to remain present for his niece, Annie and nephew, Oliver! Attaining undergraduate and doctorate degrees in DFW affords him the opportunity to remain an active, contributing alumnus and mentor at both institutions. While at Parker College of Chiropractic, Dr. Jake earned his advanced proficiency certification as a Torque Release Technique practitioner. This is the most researched and analysis-driven technique in the profession and allows him to be certain with every correction made. He was also inducted into the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association after completing additional courses outside of required curriculum. This allows him to serve our children with the best practice standards and the most proven techniques. He also earned his Webster Certification, which is an advanced certification that instructs doctors how to specifically care for prenatal and postpartum mothers. Dr. Jake has served in some of the fastest growing Chiropractic offices in the country (Ft. Worth, TX, Desoto, TX, San Antonio, TX, Omaha, NE, Tulsa, OK, Fayetteville, AR), including one of the largest Pediatric practices in the state of Colorado.

Dr. Jake’s medical interest began after experiencing a unique health challenge in early childhood. At the age of two, he battled a life-threatening disease, but was blessed with the capacity to overcome that obstacle and live a normal childhood after recovery. To date, physicians treat by providing immune system boosts to aid the body in defending the issue, but the causal factor has yet to be identified.

It is the answer to that question that has driven Dr. Schumann’s pursuit of providing his patients with not only a resource for their symptoms, but ultimately to identify the root cause of what’s creating dysfunction in their health. An even bigger focus of his is to educate and empower families on the prevention of disease and dysfunction by taking critical steps in early development, in-utero, and continuing into adulthood. Developing healthy habits and creating sustainability in family health begins with education! Dr. Jake feels honored to be able to walk alongside family after family pursuing a healthy life. Ultimately, our goal is to help North Texas become the healthiest community in the country. One life at a time.

Molly Rook

Molly was born and raised in Greenville, TX to parents Glenn and Tammy. She has two younger siblings, a brother, Jake, and a sister, Jenny. Her upbringing in a Christ-centered household has shaped the person that she is today.

Molly graduated from Greenville Christian School where she met her future husband, Kyle. After graduation she went on to attend Texas A&M University- Commerce where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work. While attending school, Molly worked in several capacities with Plano ISD including creating a curriculum for 12th grade girls who would be the first in their families to attend college, implementing a Food4Kids program at a low-income elementary school, and working with at-risk youth in small group sessions at a Special Programs Center.

After college Molly worked as a Case Manager and Legal Advocate at a Domestic Violence Shelter. There, she was able to provide a safe haven for woman and children fleeing unsafe situations. Molly assisted clients in obtaining protective orders against abusive partners, aided clients with job hunts and housing searches, and served at the shelter’s 24-hour crisis hotline.

Molly and Kyle welcomed their son, Oliver into the world during the 2016 Summer Olympics and life has been nonstop since then! She considers this to be her most challenging and rewarding project yet. Molly is also a proud fur momma to a very special rescue mutt named Judge, who has gladly taken on the role of office mascot. You might see him around the office from time to time, so be sure to say hi!

Molly is excited to be a part of the team at Restoration Chiropractic and she feels extremely blessed to have the opportunity to serve Prosper and the surrounding communities alongside her brother, Dr. Jake.

Jenny Bell

Jenny was born and raised in Greenville, Texas. The small east Texas town is where she learned to be a steward to the Lord and is where she’ll always call home. Jenny graduated high school in 2013 and married her husband Christopher in September of 2016. Training for her dream job started a few short months later.

Fast forward 9 months to October 3rd, 2017 when she landed that job and became a mother. Her daughter, Annie Claire, has been an absolute joy and has been the rewarding career she had always dreamt of.

Jenny is a selfless servant and she always puts others ahead of herself. Often, Jenny contributes behind the scenes with the practice calendar, office decorations, event planning and caring for all the kiddos that frequent RC! She is so excited to see where the Lord takes Restoration Chiropractic and the families that are served here!
